Breast Health Advocate Training and Volunteer Orientation
With the training women will be prepared to share information about breast cancer generally and specifically the disparities faced by black women; implement programs within their churches or communities to help women reduce their personal risk for breast cancer; connect women with resources to access breast cancer screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services; and provide emotional support for women through their breast cancer experience. Individuals who wish to be a R.E.D. Alliance volunteer are invited attend from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to learn more about the Alliance and volunteer opportunities.
